Safe Living Solutions-Transitions will conduct a thorough and systematic assessment of every aspect of your property and home, from the curb in front of your home, throughout your home and out the back door.  We will examine every room that is used by you or your family member and identify as many possible risks or inconveniences as possible.

Utilizing a proprietary assessment tool, Safe Living will examine hundreds of individual facets of your home and property.  And the assessment is done with a particular emphasis on the unique needs of the individual and their particular restrictions and impairments.  When necessary, we will bring in an Occupational Therapist for a comprehensive evaluation of the individual capabilities and limitations in order to tailor our home modification recommendations accordingly.

During our assessment we will:

• Discuss individual needs and physical limitations
• Review your home’s features that may limit movement and safety. Exterior walkways, entry points, stairways, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and other common areas are key areas of risk and will be assessed for access, safety and comfort
• Discuss all options with you, your family, medical professionals and therapists to answer all questions and address all factors
• Determine products and solutions that work for the specific needs of you/your
  loved one

 

Following our assessment, Safe Living will analyze your household and prepare a comprehensive report identifying ways to improve the safety and accessibility of your home.  Our report will describe and prioritize the risks in the home and provide a range of options for different budgets aimed at reducing those risks and offering accessibility solutions.
